1971 Yukio Toda establishes TODA Racing.
Race tuning engines such as Honda N, Honda Z and Honda S1300 (all air cooled).
Design chassis for local FL500 championship.
TODA Racing tuned and used Honda N360 as the power unit.
1977 Using MF318 engine and March chassis, development work and testing begins with an eye towards participating in Suzuka based FJ1300 series.
1978 Employing local driver, Kengo Nakamoto, we race and win Suzuka FJ1300 championship.
FJ1300 championship finished at the end of the year.
A decision is made to move up to Japanese F3 championship.
1979 Maintain F3 Nova Toyota 2TG engine.
Development work begins on Toda Racing's Toyota 2TG engine.
1980 F3 chassis is built to aid development of F3 engine.
1981 Supplied F3 engine to British championship mid season.
With the exception of one retirement, TODA Racing's engine wins all the remaining rounds and take 2nd in the championship.
